Finding the significance of an event in the book was a challenge. Sometimes even finding the evidence was a challenge. I downloaded this PDF version so that I could help by highlighting some of the passages ahead of time. This really assisted the students.

As a final project one of my students re-wrote a scene from the book but placed it in a modern setting. Another did an essay on banned books. There are many other options to extend learning on this book. This is a great resource for doing that!
