We spent 20 years homeschooling our own children and now it is my joy to work with homeschooled students of all ages. This blog's purpose is to share free resources used with students in the past. WOW Natalie!! What an incredible share. We are just wrapping up Andrew's grade 5 government study. We've done research, read government stories, watched videos of the cabinet, Andrew listened to the platforms of government representatives, came to the voting station on election day, shared what party he would vote for and why, we read articles about the different parties, discussed how this election was different from the last two he attended, he has studied government history with his Thursday class and even had a mock parliamentary debate. This lapbook is the PERFECT way to sum up his studies and great way to end the school year for social studies! Thank you SO much for all your hard work and your dedication to providing students with creative learning to meet all learning styles.
